Everything ended as it began

Deletion of announcements.

The Patriarchate of Jerusalem proceeded with the DELETION of all announcements against me concerning my person and my research on the “miracle of the Holy Fire” in August 2024.

Let’s remember.
On March 18, 2019, a letter-announcement was published by the Chief Secretariat of the Patriarchate, containing clearly false and defamatory references against me, prompted by the content of my published book titled “Redemption – On the Holy Fire” (Ekremmes Publications, 2019).

The said announcement aimed to inflict a severe blow to my moral and professional standing, in order to discredit the content of my research, which undeniably documented the falsehood of the alleged miracle.

The defamatory announcement was made in five different languages (Greek, Russian, Arabic, English, and Romanian), with the result that the false and defamatory references contained in the letter received widespread publicity. (here the archived -and now deleted- Greek version)

Both in the criminal trial and in the civil courts, I was unanimously vindicated.

The Patriarchate’s claims -regarding alleged “edited videos” and my book as a “product of fictional stories invented by the author”- were proven false and defamatory.

On May 23, 2024, I served a LEGAL NOTICE to the Patriarchate of Jerusalem, in which I demanded “the written retraction -as well as deletion- of your defamatory claims and a written apology within 10 calendar days”.

The legal notice remained unanswered.

My LAWSUIT against the Patriarchate followed on July 10.

Around mid-August 2024, I discovered that all announcements concerning me had been (silently) deleted from the Patriarchate’s official website (in all languages).


This is yet another proof – an admission of the falsehood of the claims. (As we saw, the Patriarchate has also deleted -due to my research- every reference to a “miracle” in relation to the Holy Fire, in all languages. This act delivered the final blow to the falsehood that lasted for so many centuries.
